7pm-8:30pm: Open Conduction Workshop with Yuma Uesaka (All welcome!)
Conduction is a method of group improv that uses a few simple hand gestures to lead musicians of any tradition and ability in collective creation. Yuma is a NYC clarinetist and improviser who has studied conduction with Tyshawn Sorey. Bring your instrument, meet people and stay for a show of ugly beauty from Montreal and New York.
